Bahrain Business Protest

Manchester protest - A protest, jointly organised by RAPAR's Bahrain Solidarity Campaign and the MENA (Middle East & North Africa) Solidarity Network, took place today at Manchester's Bridgewater Hall. The protest called on members of Manchester's Chamber of Commerce, who were meeting with Bahraini royal Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa al-Khalifa and other Bahraini businessmen, to refrain from supporting a bloody regime which - as is common knowledge - brutally represses its own people's calls for political and social justice.
